Yamini Goenka is an RCI registered special educator and a clinical psychologist. She has been working in this field for the last 17 years. She can work with multiple disabilities. She had been running her own inclusive centre, in Jaipur, by the name “PEHCHAAN”. The centre has pushed inclusive education in Rajasthan. She has acted as a mediator between parents with special needs children and mainstream schools. She has worked as a freelancer with many schools (initially), paediatrician and neurologist till December 2021. She can counsel parents who have differently able children to do assessments and diagnosis, intervention and home plans. Besides, she takes individual remedial sessions.

She has organised group sessions to enhance social behaviour through movement therapy. She has experience with academic issues like memory, reading, writing, phonics etc. She conducts workshops for teachers, creates resource cells within schools and facilitates inclusive education. She can also modify the syllabus as per the adaptation required by each student. She also provides concessions as per CBSE and ICSE boards in grades X and XII.

Yamini Goenka believes in sharing all her techniques with parents for their children if they are ready to learn. From her experience, she has learned that involving parents bring better and quicker results. This is her unique style which is not found commonly in rehabilitation professionals.
